About the Role:
Join Urban Restaurant Group as a Grill Cook/Lead Line and be part of a dynamic culinary team in the heart of Eugene, OR. This exciting position offers the opportunity to showcase your grilling skills while leading a passionate kitchen crew in a fast-paced environment. Pay range includes tips.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and grill high-quality meats.
  • Lead and direct line cooks, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
  • Maintain high standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain standards with kitchen staff on techniques and station protocols.
  • Adapt to changing menu items and special requests with flexibility.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a grill cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, extremely high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Food Handler's Certification or equivalent is required.
  • Passion for creating delicious food and delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
